Aan de hand van de onderstaande tabel bepaal je eenvoudig welke maat kickboksbroekje jij nodig hebt. De maat kan het meest nauwkeurig worden bepaald door gebruik te maken van jouw taillemaat. De taille is het smalste deel van je torso en bevindt zich boven je navel en onder je ribben. De taille meet je door dit gedeelte helemaal rond op te meten met een meetlint.
De eerste maat bij (niet confectiemaat) van bijvoorbeeld een goed zittende spijkerbroek (vb. 28, 30, 32, 34) komt ook overeen met je taillemaat. Deze zou je eventueel ook als referentie kunnen gebruiken.
De kickboksbroekjes, veelal gemaakt in Thailand, vallen voor ons Europeanen vrij klein, schrik dus niet van het maatadvies, dit zegt verder niets over jouw postuur als fanatiek sporter.
